How is it almost March? With the Sun shining here in Bristol it has been feeling positively spring like. We have had a busy start to the year here at JH Group. We are pleased to of secured several new contracts already with many more in the pipeline, our busiest January to date. We very much look forward to working with our new contractors.
We are not alone, the whole of Bristol is a hub of activity. Just take a look outside wherever you are the skyline is full of cranes. City centre developments are it would seem never ending. Housing developments springing up all over the place especially in prime central locations. Most notably Wapping wharf, The Redcliff Quarter and in and around Temple Meads station. Completion of these projects will be just a few of the ‘Mixed-use developments’ that Bristols Mayor Marvin Rees is keen to promote for Bristol. Now is an exciting time for our industry.
We continue to work at The Clifton Observatory, the foundations have been laid so it is looking very likely that the new Glass cafe will be open in plenty of time for late spring. We are still on site at Winford, the guys are enjoying the late winter sunshine working hard to keep the momentum going. We are pleased that this early in the year besides one day of snow, we have been fortunate with the weather which helps immensely when keeping within strict timescales.
We are working on projects outside of Bristol: Castle Carey, Bridgwater, Wincanton, Keynsham to name but a few. We will consider any area within an hour or two from our base so please feel free to contact us.
Our work isn’t restricted to new builds or refurbishments. We are Wessex Water approved which means we are able to work on the Wessex Waters network for sewer connections, so we have a steady flow of Drainage work. This along with our extensions work is keeping us all very busy.
If you have a project you would like us to quote for please get in touch. You can email us or call our friendly office, we look forward to hearing from you.
