JH Group’s efforts to reduce its impact on the environment
The construction industry is one of the largest users of global resources and contributors of pollution. It therefore has a huge responsibility to aid sustainability in order to protect the environment.
To ensure everyone is building a world that will improve the lives of future generations, the construction industry is implementing eco-friendly considerations. Working sustainably involves meeting the current demands of the expanding population as well as supporting the environment in the long-term.
Our Environmental Efforts
At JH Group we recognise the effects of construction on the environment. We work hard to reduce our impact as much as possible and it is always our aim to go beyond compliance with industry standards. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver environmentally responsible yet affordable solutions.
As part of our effort to work to reduce our impact on the environment we are accredited with the British Assessment Bureau to International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) 14001:2015 for Environmental Management.

What is ISO 14001:2015
ISO 14001:2015 is a system for managing an organisation’s environmental practices. It enables us to improve environmental efficiencies and aid our operations in an ethical way with regards to Environmental output.
This accreditation standard not only helps to minimise how our operations negatively affect the environment, but also to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, as well as continually improve in the above.
Our Efforts to Reduce Waste
In addition to our Environmental Management accreditation, we work hard to find ways to reuse materials where possible. For example, we break down rubble in order to recycle and reuse in future projects.
